About us
When Claire’s School of Dancing’s doors opened in 1973, Claire’s vision was to teach children not only how to dance but how to love to dance. She went well beyond that creating a family atmosphere in her studio which is special and difficult to accomplish in the competitive business of dance education. When Claire’s students leave the school for the pursuit of post secondary education or a career in dance, they always do so with a heavy heart and a smile at the thought of the fond memories and lifelong friendships created during their training with Claire’s School of Dancing.
In September of 2005, the school was graciously passed on to Claire’s daughter, Tracy McLaughlin-Larocque, who vows to preserve the legacy created by her mother. Tracy, along with her experienced and professional faculty, who were all trained at Claire’s School of Dancing, offer quality dance training to all children, whether they’re interested in dancing recreationally or working toward the competitive program. We invite you to join us for a fun filled, relaxed and exciting learning experience!
